Data Analyst (Environmental)
8 Month contract until end May 2019
Are you a bright graduate in a numerical subject? You will have a keen interest and proven skills in:
• Data Analysis (essential to have experience working with large data sets)
• Excel (or equivalent)
You will be able to work with initiative as part of our small team where an eye for detail and quality output are essential. You will have top grades in A Level Mathematics (demonstrating solid numerical interest/ability) however degree level mathematics is not a requirement.
We work with major retailers to assist them with data collection and analysis for Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). Whilst we have been working in this field for over 15 years the recent media focus on plastic packaging waste means our services are in great demand.

Graduated from Cambridge University in Physics, Mathematics and Computer Science in 1983 and received his Environmental Masters from Imperial College in 1987. He has since worked full-time in the environmental sector at Cambridge University, BP, and ERM, and founded ecoVeritas in 1999. He has assisted nearly 100 companies with calculating their packaging waste obligations in many sectors including retail, food and drink wholesale, gardening, and automotive. He has a broad understanding of CSR issues in business, in addition to being an expert in data modelling.
Joined ecoVeritas from a background in Project Management and Customer Support. Clare graduated in Mathematics from the University of Hull and went on to work for 20 years in the implementation and support of large Warehouse and Inventory Management applications for a leading supply chain and retail software solution provider. Clare leads the team of Data Analysts and directly manages a number of packaging projects.
Joined ecoVeritas in 2014 after completing a Maths degree at Murray Edwards College, Cambridge. Freya manages some of our larger grocery clients, as well as leading on the set up of new projects. Outside of work, Freya enjoys singing in termly concerts with her choir and playing board games.
Has an English degree from Oxford University and an Early Medieval Studies MA from York University. She has had a long career in journals publishing at the large international publisher, Wiley. She has worked within production and marketing roles and has managed a large team of editors. Catherine joined ecoVeritas in 2015 to oversee the company’s office administration, book keeping and Human resources. In her spare time she enjoys dance-based exercise and attending a variety of preschool groups with her daughter who was born in 2013.
Joined ecoVeritas in 2017 after finishing a Chemistry degree at Imperial College London. Lilian now works as a data analyst on a variety of projects. In her spare time she enjoys cooking, singing and reading.
Studied Biological Sciences at St Catherine’s College, Oxford and joined ecoVeritas after working for a short time as a microbiologist. Charlotte now works as a Data Analyst, working with packaging data for a range of clients. During her spare time Charlotte enjoys reading, baking and exercising.
Business Development Manager
Graduated in Mathematics, Statistics and Computing at the University of Gloucestershire; this was followed by a 40-year career in the IT sector, initially as a Computer Programmer, and finally as Business Development and Sales Director of a large multi-national software house. Tony joined ecoVeritas in 2014 to develop sales and marketing capability. In his spare time, Tony is a Lay Pastor in the Church of England and a keen restorer of vintage radio equipment.
Is a professionally qualified database developer with over a decade of experience in packaging analysis, and sixteen years’ experience of working with mission critical financial applications in the City for companies such as Bank of Tokyo Mitsubishi PLC, Atlantic Computer Group, Deloitte & Touche and PriceWaterhouseCoopers. Mark is the lead developer of our PACKMAN system.
Oversees the company’s ever-growing IT infrastructure and operational effectiveness.
Joined ecoVeritas after finishing a Masters in Physics with Philosophy at Durham University. Now Liath works as a data analyst on a variety of projects. Outside of work, she loves baking and being involved in many sports, including windsurfing.
