Packaging
ecoVeritas (formerly known as Propack Environmental) was founded in 1999 to assist companies with the calculation of their packaging waste obligation. This calculation is a legal requirement for all obligated companies. See our Packaging FAQ for further details.
Our staff have assisted around 30 companies in this way, including Reebok, Hamleys, TIGI, Mascolo and Suzuki.
We have also been particularly successful in providing a joint solution to a group of major retailers, who have formed an association to manage their packaging waste obligations. Our clients in this group are: Fenwick, Fortnum & Mason, Harrods, Harvey Nichols, House of Fraser, John Lewis and Selfridges. Detailed information is available on the REPRA homepage.
Through the use of specialised software and database systems we have achieved considerable efficiencies and top-of-the-range data quality assurance. We can therefore pass on substantial reductions in costs (typically 40%-50%) to our clients.

- Packaging minimization
- Providing a forum for monitoring regulations, and discussing best practice. Issues covered to date include carbon issues, waste management, corporate social responsibility, waste electronics, packaging minimisation and hazardous waste.
