Portrait of Amber Tomas Amber Tomas, Statistical Advisor: Amber graduated with first-class honours in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Adelaide in 2003. She worked for one year in the methodology department of the Australian Bureau of Statistics before moving to Oxford to study for a Ph.D. in Statistics at Oxford University. Since graduating, she has been teaching and conducting research as a lecturer in the Department of Statistics at Oxford University, and has also enjoyed working on environmental consultancy projects. Amber believes in the importance of high-quality and transparent data analysis, and enjoys using data effectively to help companies achieve their aims.
