WEEE and battery compliance

The UK's Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive came into force in 2007 and affects businesses that manufacture, supply, use, and recycle electrical and electronic equipment. ecoVeritas can help your company collate and calculate the data required on a quarterly basis by accredited WEEE compliance schemes in the UK.

Similarly, the UK Waste Batteries and Accumulators Regulations came into effect in May 2009, affecting businesses that manufacture and sell batteries. We can offer you our substantial expertise on this subject, too.

WEEE and Battery regulations are based on E.U. Directives, and are in force in a number of E.U. states already, with different reporting requirements. In Ireland for example, companies are required to declare waste on a monthly basis. ecoVeritas can help businesses that operate anywhere in the E.U. to comply with regulations in each nation.

How we can help you:

  • WEEE and battery compliance - including regular reporting as required in the UK, Ireland and mainland Europe.
  • Combined packaging and WEEE/battery calculations - to save you time and money

We are always happy to discuss your options in more detail, and we can create a tailor-made package to suit your precise needs.
