Our mission is to make it easy for companies to understand their obligations, get compliant and to respond appropriately through reduction, substitution and recycling.
At Ecoveritas, we love numbers. But maybe not for the reason you would think. Many of our team’s backgrounds before venturing into environmental data collection and analysis range from the studies of classical languages, geography, physics, biology, radiation protection, economics, teaching, retail and foster caring.
We are happy to have a whole analytics and data team ready to make sense of that vast amount of data available. They allow us as a business and our customers to be clear-sighted and take the right packaging decisions based on facts instead of reaching conclusions based on preconceived ideas or subjective “gut feelings”.
Andrew McCaffery
Chief Strategy Officer
Andrew is Chief Strategy Officer at Ecoveritas and has a career spanning more than 30 years within the environmental sector.
Andrew is responsible for overseeing ecoveritas’ transition to the new EPR and DRS systems being proposed by the UK and Scottish Governments.
Daire Moraria
Data Administrator
Daire is a graduate of Aberystwyth University, with a degree in Mathematical and Theoretical Physics. Daire is now responsible for managing Annual Packaging Waste Submissions for several clients. This work involves liaising directly with clients to ensure fulfilment of obligations and accuracy in fulfilling data calculations.
Hannah Whitaker
Assistant Quality Manager
Hannah is Assistant Quality Manager for the Ecoveritas Data Quality Team. Hannah uses her expertise to carry out detailed checking and quality assurance of packaging data held, ensuring accurate calculation results, and identifies improvements to the coverage and scope of the database.
Helen Hodgson
Data Product Manager
Helen is Data Product Manager at ecoveritas with 15 years' experience working with packaging data within the environmental sector. Helen works with our developers to provide systems and tools to manage, report and visualise data for ecoveritas and our customers.

With over 25 years of engineering, IT, and senior management experience, Irvin Newbitt is CEO of Ecoveritas. Throughout his career, Irvin has been accountable for delivering large-scale Engineering, IT, and business change programmes, from plant construction and business restructuring to mergers & acquisitions.

Data Analyst
A recent graduate of Oxford Brookes University, Jessica joined Ecoveritas with a keen interest in sustainability. As a Data Analyst, her work has included calculating packaging waste obligations and supporting clients with EPR.

With more than 15 years of experience in the environment and packaging sectors as a consultant and commercial lead on EPR and recyclability projects.
Josh has worked with leading FMCG brands and retailers, where he has demonstrated strong knowledge of the global EPR industry.
Kathy Illingworth
Head of Sustainability Consulting and Policy
Kathy has worked in packaging compliance and sustainability for 20 years, with experience in all aspects of global EPR. She is proficient in Life Cycle Analysis and carbon footprint modelling, putting these skills to good use working during consultancy projects.

Sandy has over 20 years of experience in global EPR legislation, data management and consultancy. Additionally, her work has received excellent feedback during auditing by the Environmental Agency.

Tom works as a Data Administrator at Ecoveritas and is responsible for collection as part of the UK Packaging Regulations and contributes towards the delivery of projects for large and complex clients.
